Music Teacher (General Music) - Whitcomb Middle School

Music Teacher (Grades 6-8) at 1LT Charles W. Whitcomb School in Marlborough, MA. Teaches music classes and leads both curricular and extracurricular music activities, designs units with measurable outcomes, administers assessments, analyzes results to inform instruction, provides descriptive, constructive feedback to students and families, and maintains high expectations in a culturally proficient classroom. Collaborates with families, caregivers, community members, and colleagues to promote student learning, upholds district philosophy and policies, and demonstrates professional integrity, reliability, and appropriate confidentiality. Requires licensure as a Massachusetts Music Teacher and familiarity with standards-based instruction, differentiated learning, and supportive practices for English learners and students with disabilities; SEI endorsement preferred and bilingual ability a plus.
