Job Summary
General Manager needed to lead School of Rock's Denton location, overseeing operations, instructional and administrative staff, student enrollment, events, customer service, and community engagement. Responsibilities include managing billing and schedules, delivering high-quality educational experiences, recruiting and onboarding staff, promoting diversity and inclusion, driving KPIs, and leading marketing, sales, and promotions to grow the school and student participation. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and collaboration across diverse populations, with a passion for music and the arts and an entrepreneurial drive to grow a small business.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years work experience in management, sales, marketing, or customer service-related role
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong experience recruiting and managing staff
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proven problem-solving skills
- A collaborator who works well across diverse populations
- Strong work ethic, integrity, and leadership skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Experience and interest in working with children
- Passion and/or interest in music and the arts
- Entrepreneurial spirit and drive to grow a small business
