Job Summary
Studio Coordinator serves as the front-of-house presence for School of Rock Montclair, assisting the General Manager with running the school, enrolling new students, coordinating scheduling, supporting instructors, and creating an engaging experience for students, parents and prospective families. The role involves evenings (2 PM–9 PM on select weekdays) and one weekend shift (10 AM–6 PM). Responsibilities include driving enrollment and revenue through effective program pitching and merchandising, managing scheduling and communication across multiple software platforms (scheduling tools, Google Workspace, CRM, Canva), ensuring safety and adherence to the Code of Conduct, delivering excellent customer service, planning and promoting events, supporting marketing efforts and social media, and maintaining a positive, collaborative team environment with a focus on children and families.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in customer service, marketing and/or sales environment
- Strong leadership and management skills: able to motivate and inspire a team
- Strong business acumen, preferably experience assisting in running a business
- Skilled at juggling multiple projects, setting priorities, being a self-starter, and problem-solving
- Good team player who collaborates and brings a positive energy and personality to the workplace every day
- Ability to be adaptable and flexible under pressure
- Excellent customer service and relationship skills – welcoming, outgoing demeanor essential
- Possess a polished demeanor and conducts themselves with a high level of professionalism and integrity with superb communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience and interest in working with children
- Knowledge of music and/or the music industry is preferred
