Job Summary
Part-time Director of Music at Church of the Messiah to lead worship music, coordinate a choir and band, and provide musical support for services.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to express saving faith in Jesus Christ and alignment with Church of the Messiah’s beliefs and commitments
- Desire to worship God in an Episcopal/Anglican setting
- Ability to lead and play music and sing at the same time with excellence
- Reliable, organized, detail-oriented, and responsive to feedback
- Appreciation of traditional and contemporary styles of worship music
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in leading a choir and working with other musicians
- Proficiency in piano and/or organ
- Knowledge of Episcopal/Anglican hymnody and liturgy
