Job Summary
Maximize music instruction quality through private lessons and show rehearsals, ensuring students master fundamentals using the School of Rock Method™. Create and document thoughtful lesson plans via the Method App, while communicating progress to parents through quality notes and at-home assignments. Interact regularly with students and families, pitch in during canceled lessons, and assist with rehearsal execution and facility upkeep. Requires 2+ years of professional teaching or performance experience, music theory knowledge, and strong customer relations skills. Flexible schedule with access to 401(k), EAP, and gear discounts.
Required Qualifications
- 2 + years experience teaching and/or performing music professionally
- Knowledge of music theory and curriculum design
- Strong customer relations skills
- Excellent ability to deal well with a wide range of customers
- Strong organizational skills
