Museum Specialist

Museum Specialist to coordinate construction-related museum programs for National Park Service projects in Greensboro, NC. Responsibilities include coordinating with Smithsonian program leadership and museum partners, preparing and maintaining project reports and documentation, supporting cataloging, photography, and database management, ensuring compliance with collections care and storage protocols, and communicating with internal teams and external stakeholders. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Museum Studies or related field and at least three years of museum curation/collection management experience; on-site, full-time role with opportunity for future Smithsonian-related engagements. Preferred certifications: AAM Professional Certificate, ICOM credentials, and collection-care certifications. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, ProCore, and Adobe Acrobat; strong written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and collaboratively.
