Job Summary

Open and close the register daily, processing cash and credit card transactions for admissions, tours, and shop sales while greeting visitors and maintaining the Museum Shop. Prior to opening, clean restrooms, floors, and surfaces, and dispose of trash and recycling to ensure a safe, pest-free environment. Monitor the security system, prepare gallery spaces, and field incoming calls and emails, demonstrating knowledge of exhibitions to address visitor queries. Occasionally assist with school tours, public programming, historical interpretation, exhibit fabrication, research, and set up for special events. This full-time, hourly role reports to the Visitor Services Coordinator & Museum Specialist and requires weekend, holiday, and evening availability.
