Musculoskeletal Radiologist

Fellowship-trained Musculoskeletal Radiologist sought to join UVA Health's Community Division. Practice full spectrum musculoskeletal imaging (MRI, CT, ultrasound, radiography) across multiple facilities serving Prince William Hospital, Haymarket Medical Center, Culpeper Hospital, Culpeper Outpatient Imaging Center and Gainesville Outpatient Imaging Center. Clinical duties include interpreting a wide range of MSK studies, performing image-guided procedures (joint injections, aspirations, biopsies), and participating in multidisciplinary case conferences and consults with orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine specialists, rheumatologists, oncologists, and primary care providers. The role involves 90-95% clinical service and 5-10% administration/service activities, with occasional coverage at Culpeper Outpatient Imaging Center. Administrative responsibilities include contributions to quality improvement, workflow optimization, peer review, protocol development, and marketing/recruitment efforts. Collaborative work with technologists, nurses, and staff to ensure high-quality imaging protocols and timely service, and advancing the division’s professional reputation within UVA Radiology. Eligibility includes Virginia medical licensure and board certification/eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology; fellowship in MSK Radiology; and a strong collaborative, patient-centered approach.
