Job Summary
Provide comprehensive neurological assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing management for patients with acute and chronic conditions across inpatient and outpatient settings. Perform inpatient rounding and neurological consultations while coordinating care with physicians, specialists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals. Evaluate patients using history, physical examination, laboratory data, diagnostic testing, and imaging results to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Collaborate with an established Neurologist and interdisciplinary team within a supportive environment that values teamwork and professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Practice Provider: Nurse Practitioner (FNP, ANP, or AGNP) or Physician Assistant
- Current South Carolina licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Current BLS certification
- DEA and applicable state prescribing credentials prior to start date
Desired Qualifications
- Neurology experience preferred but not required
- Minimum of two years of APP experience preferred
- Commitment to delivering outstanding patient care and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
