Job Summary
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with Alzheimer's disease and other cognitive and behavioral neurological conditions through comprehensive histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations. Develop individualized treatment plans and provide longitudinal follow-up care while collaborating closely with neurologists, primary care providers, and interdisciplinary teams. Educate patients and caregivers on disease management, treatment options, and available resources within the South Carolina Alzheimer's Network. Participate in clinical research, quality improvement initiatives, and educational opportunities to improve access to innovative therapies. Work 40 weekly hours as a regular employee with competitive compensation, paid malpractice coverage, and retirement plans.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Practice Provider: Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) licensed or eligible for licensure in South Carolina
- Current BLS certification
- Interest in cognitive neurology, dementia care, geriatrics, neurology, primary care, or behavioral health
- Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
