Job Summary
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into Murex MXML technical solutions and lead cross-functional technology teams. Provide technical guidance, maintain technology roadmaps, and evaluate new technologies to support delivery efficiency and process improvements. Manage project dependencies, vendor relationships, and delivery risks while ensuring solutions comply with security and quality standards. Deliver project outcomes within defined scope, timelines, and resource constraints.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Murex MXML development, configuration, implementation, or support
- In-depth understanding of relevant technologies and software systems
- Knowledge of software architecture and design patterns
- Knowledge of database management systems and data structures
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with project management tools and delivery methodologies
- Understanding of cloud computing platforms and infrastructure
- Ability to use technology tools and systems relevant to Murex MXML project delivery
- Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into technology solutions
- Experience working with software development lifecycle processes and project deliverables
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of Murex MXML experience in development, configuration, implementation, integration, testing, or support
- Experience in software development, technology delivery, requirements analysis, or related technology roles
- Experience applying Agile development methodologies and project management practices
- Experience with software architecture, design patterns, databases, data structures, and cloud computing concepts
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with current supported versions of Murex MXML and related implementation components
- Experience with cloud-based development, deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure practices
- Experience with technology roadmaps, architecture reviews, and solution evaluation
- Experience leading cross-functional technology teams
- Experience managing project dependencies, risks, issues, and delivery milestones
- Experience with vendor relationship management and contract negotiations
- Experience evaluating new technologies and making recommendations for adoption
- Familiarity with tools used for source control, build management, testing, deployment, documentation, and project tracking
- Experience supporting process improvements that increase delivery efficiency and reduce operational waste
- Experience with programming or scripting languages used in the surrounding Murex MXML technology landscape
- Experience developing reusable components, automation scripts, or utilities that improve delivery efficiency
- Experience with relational and/or cloud-based database technologies
- Experience with data migration, reconciliation, reporting, integration, or data quality activities
- Experience optimizing queries, data structures, or data-processing workflows
- Hands-on experience deploying or supporting applications in cloud environments
- Experience with cloud infrastructure automation, containerization, monitoring, or release management
- Experience applying sustainable cloud practices, including efficient resource utilization and reduction of unnecessary workloads
- Experience with integration frameworks, enterprise application components, or reusable technology libraries
- Experience designing modular, scalable, and maintainable solutions
- Experience with continuous integration, continuous delivery, automated testing, and release management practices
- Experience with technical roadmaps, architecture reviews, delivery metrics, and process improvement initiatives
- Experience coordinating work across multiple technology teams
- Experience incorporating security controls into Murex MXML or related technology solutions
- Experience supporting security reviews, risk assessments, audit activities, or remediation plans
- Experience in financial services, capital markets, or another regulated technology environment
- Relevant certifications in Agile delivery, project management, cloud computing, software architecture, or technology leadership
- Completion of role-relevant training in Murex MXML, software development, cloud infrastructure, security, data management, and Agile delivery
- Mentorship capability and ability to provide clear technical guidance to team members
- Strong leadership skills and experience leading cross-functional teams
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
