Job Summary
Provide L1/L2 production support for Front Office trading desks across Fixed Income, FX, EQD, and Credit, acting as the primary technology contact for real-time troubleshooting. Troubleshoot trade booking, STP, enrichment, pricing, PnL, risk, and market data issues while analyzing logs to investigate application performance and batch/job processing problems. Own incidents end-to-end from triage to closure, monitor application health and feeds, and develop proactive monitoring to improve system stability. Use Unix/Linux, SQL, Shell scripting, and Python to resolve issues across application, database, and infrastructure layers. Manage vendor cases, support production releases, and maintain SOPs and incident documentation.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Front Office Trading Technology, Production Support, or a similar environment
- Strong functional and technical knowledge of Murex
- Strong understanding of Fixed Income and FX products
- Understanding of PnL, risk, sensitivities, pricing, and trade lifecycle processes
- Experience troubleshooting market data, trade STP, interfaces, enrichment, booking, and downstream processing
- Strong Murex log analysis and performance troubleshooting skills
- Strong Unix/Linux troubleshooting skills
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Sybase, Oracle, or SQL Server
- Experience with shell scripting
- Experience with Python or other automation
- Understanding of Murex orchestration, services, workflows, and end-to-end process flows
- Experience troubleshooting Murex EOD and batch-processing issues
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work directly with traders and other Front Office stakeholders in a high-pressure production environment
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability, responsiveness, and attention to detail
- Visa Sponsorship: We currently support relocation and U.S. immigration sponsorship for candidates eligible for TN status or, for qualifying French nationals, E-2 treaty investor/employee status, subject to applicable immigration requirements and company approval
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on Murex MX.3 experience preferred
- Exposure to Equity Derivatives, Credit, and other cross-asset products is highly desirable
- Experience with E-Tradepad, LiveBook, Pricing, Simulation, and Workflow
- Murex market data expertise, including MDCS, RTBS, MDRS, and MDIT
- Exposure to Murex Datamart and reporting frameworks
- Experience with Murex Pricing APIs, REST APIs, or GraphQL
- Experience with Bloomberg, ION, TT, MarkitWire, and other trading/execution platforms
- Experience with enterprise monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog, ITRS, or Telemetry
- Experience with Tidal, Autosys, Control-M, or similar enterprise schedulers
- Experience with ServiceNow, JIRA, or similar ITSM platforms
- Experience managing vendor cases and production fixes
- Exposure to audit, compliance, BCP/DR, and operational governance
- Experience with automation and proactive production monitoring
