Job Summary
Lead the Satellite Payload Integrated Product Team in support of the MUOS SLE program by managing direct and matrixed employees across engineering, operations, quality, supply chain, contracts, and program management. Provide technical, programmatic, and personnel leadership for payload development, integration, test, verification, and delivery activities while establishing execution plans, schedules, and performance metrics. Manage cost, schedule, and technical performance; identify and mitigate risks; coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors; and ensure compliance with Boeing processes and customer expectations. Prepare status updates, risk assessments, and recovery plans for program leadership. Foster a culture of accountability and support team development. This 100% onsite role in El Segundo, CA requires an active U.S. TS/SCI security clearance and offers relocation for eligible candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Higher
- 10+ years of experience in a leadership role in a matrix organization
- 5+ years of experience in project/program management
- Experience in space programs/communication payload design, production & delivery
- Active U.S. TS/SCI Security Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship Required
- U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher
- 10+ years of experience in project/program management
- Leadership experience in Government Space Programs
- Leadership experience in development on fixed price programs
