Job Summary
Manage and expand the client base for AFC Division products across water, wastewater, and sewer markets by generating new leads and establishing long-term relationships with municipalities, engineering firms, contractors, and utility authorities. Provide expert consultation on specifications for hydrants, valves, and other products while conducting promotional calls, developing specifications, and addressing pricing concerns. Respond promptly to inquiries, coordinate orders, expedite shipments, and furnish quotes. Travel 60% of the time within the assigned territory to build relationships with distributors and deliver post-sale support. Requires a Bachelor's degree or three years of municipal water works product experience and the ability to interpret project specifications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from a four-year university
- 3 years of municipal water works product experience
- Must be able and willing to live within the assigned territory
- Must be available to travel a minimum of 60% of the time
- Ability to learn and interpret specifications for projects involving our products
- Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint
