Job Summary

Civil/municipal engineer with 2–5 years of experience to contribute to municipal review and technical analysis, prepare engineering reports and recommendations for boards, support planning and zoning coordination, and assist in the design and construction administration of municipal infrastructure projects in Cape May Court House, NJ. Responsibilities include evaluating site plans and capital improvement projects, preparing design documents and supporting technical documentation, performing engineering calculations for drainage, grading, and roadways, coordinating with internal teams and external agencies, and contributing to project delivery from planning through construction while pursuing PE licensure.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in civil, municipal, or site/infrastructure engineering
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required
  • Demonstrated progress toward Professional Engineer (PE) licensure, with the goal of obtaining licensure within approximately 6–12 months
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort participating in or supporting public meetings and municipal coordination
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, work collaboratively, and contribute effectively in a client-service environment
