Job Summary
Provide day-to-day legal counsel to municipal clients, including attendance at council and board meetings; draft and review ordinances, resolutions, contracts, and policies; advise clients on compliance with Ohio statutes governing public entities; represent municipalities in administrative proceedings and litigation matters; collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to deliver comprehensive legal solutions. Minimum five years of legal experience in private practice or local government law; active Ohio Bar admission; strong research and writing skills; ability to manage matters independently while collaborating within a team.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of legal experience in a private law firm and/or local government law department
- Active Ohio Bar admission (or ability to obtain promptly)
