Job Summary
Lead integrated project teams for utilities (steam generation/distribution, water supply/treating, fuel systems, compressed air, nitrogen, power generation) and offsites (tankage, pipelines, product movements) within ExxonMobil's facilities. Develop the O&U basis and integrate utilities within existing or new plant designs; drive technoeconomic optimization balancing CAPEX, profitability, ESG, safety and reliability. Review utilities specifications, support FEED and Detailed Design, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate with Business Teams, Manufacturing/Site Operations, and Engineering Specialists. Require a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline, 8+ years of relevant experience, and willingness to travel or relocate domestically and internationally.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B.E. / B. Tech) or higher in Chemical Engineering or related engineering discipline
- Authorization to work in India
- Willingness to travel or relocate including internationally
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Utilities systems involving major steam generating facilities and/or Offsites /Tankage systems in Oil and Gas industry
- Knowledgeable with ASME BPV Codes, API standards, NFPA, GT-Pro, Pro-Steam, APS, AFT Fathom, Pipenet, HYSYS
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B.E. / B. Tech) or higher in Chemical Engineering or related engineering discipline from AICTE recognized university and/or hold other relevant industry experience
- Authorization to work in India
- Willingness to travel or relocate including internationally
- Minimum 8 years of experience in utilities systems and/or offsites/tankage in oil and gas industry
- Knowledge of ASME BPV, API, NFPA codes; proficiency with GT-Pro, Pro-Steam, AVEVA APS, AFT Fathom, Pipenet, HYSYS
