Job Summary
Inspects and cuts specified quantities of #2 product, places meat on conveyors or into packaging pockets, and operates Multivac packaging machines. Responsible for setup/tear-down of equipment, labeling and dating procedures, using a handheld computer and SAP for issuing and tracking. Performs HACCP checks, follows GMP/SQF requirements, and participates in all department roles including housekeeping. Must be able to perform two-person lifts up to 60 pounds, work in a fast-paced, cold environment (35 degrees), and be willing to overtime and/or weekends as needed. Second shift in New London, WI; growth opportunities within a high-volume meat-processing facility.
