Job Summary
Conduct Multisystemic Therapy sessions with families of teens (ages 12-17) in their homes, focusing on improving school attendance, strengthening relationships, and reducing high-risk behaviors like aggression or substance use. Collaborate with schools, probation officers, and service providers to implement evidence-based solutions using cognitive behavioral therapy and family systems theory. Manage a caseload of 4-6 families while providing 24/7 phone support to address daily family dynamics. The role offers a hybrid schedule with evening and weekend availability, clinical supervision to support licensure, and a short 3-5 month treatment window. You will work within Liberty Resources' Multisystemic Therapy Program in Ulster County, leveraging a diverse, community-based approach to foster positive health outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- A master's degree in a mental health field
- Licensed clinician
- Able to be licensed
- At least 2 years of experience working with families
- Community-based work
- A valid New York driver's license
- Reliable transportation
