Job Summary
Multiskilled Tradesman needed to deliver reactive and planned maintenance across The Garrisons. Responsibilities include performing painting, decorating and general building maintenance, supporting the wider team to provide efficient maintenance services, ensuring work meets company standards, building regulations and health and safety requirements, responding to reactive maintenance tasks, recording completed works in company systems, and delivering excellent customer service while maintaining productivity and quality. Requires full UK driving licence, eligibility for MOD security clearance, and proven building/construction maintenance experience across industrial, commercial, and domestic environments. Desirable qualifications include C&G 6217 Multi-skills, PASMA/IPAF, and relevant health and safety training. Demonstrated ability to work across multiple trades, manage varied workloads, and operate within risk-assessed safe systems of work. The role is based in Warminster, UK, with security clearance required prior to starting.
Required Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence
- Eligible for Ministry of Defence security clearance
- Proven experience across building and construction engineering environments including industrial, commercial and domestic settings
- Relevant building trade experience within maintenance services
- Ability to work across multiple disciplines within a multi-trade environment
- Experience working in challenging and varied workloads within a team environment
- Desirable: C&G 6217 Multi-skills qualification or equivalent
- Desirable: PASMA and IPAF qualifications
- Desirable: Health and safety training
- Desirable: Experience within a military or Ministry of Defence environment
- Desirable: Experience using handheld PDA systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
