Job Summary
Clean and sanitize patient rooms, restrooms, and common areas while performing routine tasks like dusting, mopping, and trash removal. Prepare and assemble patient meal trays according to dietary requirements, then deliver feeding carts to designated floors and distribute meals to behavioral health patients. Assist patients with meal setup, collect used trays, and maintain accurate records of deliveries and dietary needs. Communicate compassionately with patients, address concerns regarding meals or cleanliness, and report maintenance issues or safety hazards to appropriate personnel. Adhere to all infection control procedures, facility policies, and regulatory standards while participating in ongoing training programs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in environmental services and/or food services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
