Job Summary
Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance safely while responding to breakdowns and diagnosing faults quickly. Complete planned preventative maintenance tasks, maintain accurate records, and support installation and commissioning of equipment across PLCs, motors, drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors. Drive reliability improvements to reduce downtime in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday and one Saturday every four weeks. This hands-on role supports BSW Group's timber and forestry operations, offering opportunities to develop multi-skilled expertise within a collaborative team focused on sustainability and innovation.
Required Qualifications
- Time-served Electrical or Mechanical Apprentice
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong fault-finding across electrical and mechanical systems
- Ability to read schematics and engineering drawings
- Proactive, team-oriented, and safety-focused
- 40 Hours per week, Monday - Friday and 1 in 4 Saturdays
