Job Summary
Make Ready Technician for rental properties responsible for preparing vacated units for new tenants and ensuring timely, quality repairs and upkeep. Duties include inspecting vacated apartments, informing Supervisors of needed services, making ready for move-ins, inspecting and repairing lighting, windows, doors, fixtures, appliances, plumbing, electrical and carpentry; installing tile backsplash; painting and minor plaster/curtain repairs; operating carpet cleaning; assisting with trash-out; providing superior customer service and reporting hazards. Requires weekend availability, a valid driver’s license, OSHA awareness, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus; E-Verify participation and compliance with company values emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma preferred
- Previous experience in property maintenance or make-ready
- Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair tasks (painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry)
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work on weekends and varied schedules
- Valid state-issued driver’s license
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) a plus
- Able to work on-calls
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Familiarity with fair housing laws and regulations
