Job Summary
Prepare patients for cardiovascular and neuro interventional procedures by reviewing medical history, positioning, and administering contrast media. Interpret test results, report abnormalities, and maintain equipment while adhering to radiation safety and regulatory standards. Administer medications within scope of practice and monitor protocols for updates. Work evening shifts Monday through Thursday with occasional on-call rotations for overnight and weekend coverage. Requires standing, frequent patient movement, and constant alertness.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Cardiovascular or Radiology Technology program
- Must work at least 30% of FTE in secondary modality to be eligible for a Multiple Modality job
- Must be able to work evening shift Monday - Thursday 12:30 - 10p
- Must be able to work on-call requirement: a week of overnight and weekend call about every 4-5 weeks
- Must be able to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
- Must be able to work at least 30% of FTE in secondary modality to be eligible for a Multiple Modality job
