Job Summary
Conduct diagnostics, servicing, repairs, and preventative maintenance on heavy trucks, light vehicles, and mobile equipment. Perform auto-electrical work including fault-finding, installations, and repairs on trucks and heavy mobile equipment. Manage parts sourcing, ordering, and inventory accuracy to support workshop operations. Work across established transport workshops, fleets, and equipment businesses in Sydney, Bendigo, North Melbourne, Brisbane, Kalgoorlie, Kwinana, Perth, and other Australian locations. Full-time, permanent roles with strong job stability and long-term development opportunities. Relocation assistance available for selected positions.
Required Qualifications
- Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship
- Full working rights
- Valid Australian working rights
- Minimum two years post-apprenticeship experience
- Relevant trade qualifications
- Strong diagnostics and repair capability
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship
- Trade-qualified LV Mechanic
- Dual-qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanics
- Strong experience with fault-finding and diagnostic equipment
- 2:1 roster
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Kenworth, Volvo, Scania, Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner, and similar brands
- Exposure to hybrid and EV systems using modern tools
- Dual-qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanics highly regarded
