Job Summary
Edgewood High School seeks a Multiple Disabilities Teacher for the 2026-27 school year. Responsible for planning, implementing, and assessing instruction to develop students' abilities to use certain skills, apply core concepts, become self-sufficient, think and solve problems, and integrate knowledge. Will assess student learning with varied tools and communicate results to students, parents, and staff. Creates a learning climate that supports student achievement and safety and evaluates teaching effectiveness based on student achievement. Utilizes technology to support instruction, access and manipulate data, and enhance student growth while adhering to district, state, and federal policies. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree or Master Degree
- Valid Driver's license
- Appropriate State of Ohio Teaching License
- A satisfactory report from Criminal Records check
- Good health, high moral character, and good attendance record
- Demonstrates a sincere desire to aid all students
- Plans, implements and assesses instruction designed to develop students' abilities to use certain skills, apply core concepts, become self-sufficient individuals, think and solve problems, and integrate knowledge
- Assesses student learning using a variety of tools
- Communicates results to students, parents, and staff

- Evaluates teaching effectiveness based on student achievement
