Job Summary
Multiplatform Producer/MMJ to create and present original videos, segments and shows for linear, FAST streaming, OTT and other platforms. Responsible for writing, producing, recording and editing video across English and Spanish formats; on-camera appearance; pivoting content for multiple platforms using VMix or linear control room, and repurposing content for social, digital and OTT channels. Lead live or taped shows, grow social media presence, and collaborate with lifestyle programming leadership. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in journalism or equivalent experience and at least 2 years of experience in television production or digital journalism; proficient in video editing (Adobe Premiere) and bilingual English/Spanish; willing to work a flexible schedule and at the Miramar, FL location.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, media or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a reporter for TV, streaming or digital platforms
- Experience editing videos on tight deadlines
- Experience editing in Adobe Premiere
- Exceptional editorial skills: Ability to recognize stories with high potential for digital attention
- Familiarity with social media platforms
- Ability to broadcast and write English and Spanish
- Experience in recording and editing video for TV and digital
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule which could include overtime, nights, holidays and weekends
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
- Must be willing to work at the station’s Miramar location
- Must be 18 years or older
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in areas such as Journalism & Communications, or related field
