Job Summary
Perform routine and specialized procedures including CT, MRI, IR, NM, US, and mammography under Radiologist direction, administering IV contrast when applicable. Execute quality assessment and control, maintain equipment to reduce downtime, and monitor vital signs as necessary. Respond to emergency callbacks, assist with orienting new staff and students, and manage HIS, RIS, and PACS functions. Keep work areas clean and stocked, participating in in-services and performance improvement initiatives. This role supports the launch of Deaconess Health System's new free-standing emergency and urgent care facility in Evansville, IN, offering a seamless patient-centered approach to community well-being.
Required Qualifications
- IR, CT, MRI, Diagnostic: The individual must be a graduate of a recognized Radiologic Technologist program or meet clinical experience, didactic course work and alternative eligibility as specified in the ARRT and/or ARMRIT application for certification instructions
- Mammography: Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology
- Minimum of one year working experience as a radiographer
