Job Summary
Perform a variety of radiographic procedures for diagnostic treatment, positioning patients and selecting anatomic parameters accurately. Implement radiation safety standards while preparing and administering contrast media and medications within regulatory scope. Assist physicians in special procedures and ensure all activities comply with agency standards. Submit high-quality images and documents to PACS with correct lead markers and patient data. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly department including procedure rooms and storage areas. Requires BLS certification, Indiana Radiologic Technologist credential, and strong CT background with preferred coronary experience. Full-time day shift from 6:30am to 3:00pm at Ascension St. Vincent Heart Center in Carmel, IN.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Indiana Medical Radiology Services Program obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience
- Associate's degree/Technical degree
- 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience
- Strong CT background
- 3 Yrs post school hospital experience
