Perform high-quality multimodality imaging procedures across CT and other disciplines for ambulatory and hospital patients, adhering to established protocols and exam standards. Utilize AIDET communication techniques to explain procedures, verify patient identity, and assess tolerance while maintaining safety through infection control and radiation policies. Prepare patients and equipment by positioning individuals, adjusting immobilization devices, and ensuring optimal exposure factors. Maintain equipment operational capabilities with engineers, manage supplies inventory, and screen individuals entering the department. Obtain and maintain comprehensive documentation including requisitions, pregnancy status, and consent forms, while ensuring records are interpreted timely. Serve as a preceptor for new team members and provide first aid as required.
