Job Summary
Multimodality Radiologic Tech for Per Diem position in Middlebury, VT. Performs routine, trauma, intraoperative radiological imaging and cross-training into other modalities as needed. Requires CT or mammography certification and Vermont license; ARRT certification or equivalent. Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced radiology department that supports 24/7 CT and general x-ray services, with ultrasound and MRI on Weekdays. Responsibilities include imaging across CT, mammography, ultrasound, MRI as department needs dictate, and maintaining ongoing professional development to stay current in radiology tech field. Shifts vary based on department needs; differential pay for evenings, nights, weekends, and per diem.
Required Qualifications
- Satisfactory completion of a formal radiological technology program in a CAHEA approved school
- Certification by the ARRT or its equivalent
- CT or mammography certification required
- Current Vermont unrestricted State license to practice radiologic technology
- Demonstrated competence as a licensed professional by maintaining professional growth and development in Radiology
- Cross training into other modalities and certification (based on Radiology Department needs)
- Experience with CT and/or mammography imaging and general radiology imaging
