Job Summary
Perform MRI and CT procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols, ensuring proper patient screening, positioning, and image quality. Monitor patients throughout examinations for safety and comfort, administer contrast agents as directed, and verify patient information and documentation prior to imaging. Maintain MRI and CT equipment, report operational concerns, and adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards. Collaborate with radiologists and support staff to ensure efficient workflow while maintaining cleanliness and readiness of exam rooms. Work a 4x10 schedule with no on-call requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Registry in Computed Tomography (CT)
- Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) through ARRT, or current certification through ARMRIT
