Job Summary
Under the direction of the radiologist, provides CT and XR services to patients for diagnosis. Closely follows physician instructions, appropriately positions patients, prepares and operates imaging equipment, and accurately records the images requested. Qualifications include ARRT/Registered Radiologic Technologist, state licensure as Radiographer or Radiologic Technologist, and BLS; education typically includes an associate, bachelor’s, or certificate program with at least one year radiology experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree, Bachelors degree, or Certificate program considered
- Registered Radiologic Technologist is required
- Licensed Radiographer or Radiologic Technologist in the state of practice is required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required
- 1 year radiology experience preferred
