Job Summary
Conduct photo, video, and audio production for Goldey-Beacom College's internal and external marketing, including planning shoots, scouting locations, coordinating talent, and executing content for social media, web, and advertising. Edit stills and video footage with color correction, audio adjustments, and graphics; produce podcast episodes and develop assets for streaming platforms like YouTube and Spotify. Maintain camera, lighting, and audio equipment while managing digital asset libraries to support enrollment goals and storytelling initiatives. Work collaboratively with the Institutional Advancement team, internal clients, and vendors to deliver creative ideas aligned with College priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Baccalaureate degree in a discipline related to the work of the department
- Demonstrated experience in video, photo, and multimedia production
- Experience in a higher education setting
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of social media platforms and awareness of the differences between each
- A proven record of success and experience in video and photo production
- Demonstrated success in meeting goals
- The ability to project a strong positive image of the College through personal interaction with members of the college's stakeholders
- Demonstrated administrative and organizational skills such as planning, setting deadlines, and evaluating progress
- The ability to work collaboratively with others
- The ability to develop knowledge of, respect for, and skills to engage with those of other cultures and backgrounds
- Technical knowledge of camera, lighting and audio equipment
- Effort: Occasionally required to lift and move boxes of materials and equipment weighing 25-50 pounds
- The job requires a Tuesday-Saturday schedule
- Routine hours of 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
- Coverage of one to two evening student events per week as needed
- Flexed hours as approved by the supervisor
- Travel and attendance at evening and/or weekend activities, meetings, events, seminars, and workshops
Desired Qualifications
- Baccalaureate degree in a discipline related to the work of the department is preferred
- Experience with audio production, podcast editing, and digital advertising assets
- Computer literacy, particularly related to editing software and Microsoft office products
