Job Summary
Lead visual storyteller for Working@Duke in Duke Human Resources, producing, shooting and editing video content and serving as the primary photographer for the multi-channel portfolio. Collaborate with writers, social media professionals and leaders to support communication strategies, advance organizational priorities and strengthen employee engagement and culture. Plan and execute photography assignments, direct shoots, and edit assets for websites, campaigns, social media, and print. Manage the Working@Duke YouTube channel, including content planning, publishing, optimization and analytics. Demonstrate strong proficiency with DSLR/mirrorless systems, lighting and audio, and Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop), with a portfolio showcasing excellence in video storytelling and editorial photography.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of videography and photography experience
- Portfolio demonstrating video and photography work
- Ability to independently develop and execute multimedia storytelling projects from concept through publication
- Experience managing video content for digital and social channels
- Knowledge of YouTube channel management and analytics
