Job Summary
Develop interactive multimedia programming, animation, and video production while managing art direction and graphic design for educational materials. Design and develop multimedia applications, user-driven templates, and LMS integrations using Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Vyond. Generate new code, correct existing scripts in XML, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, and update legacy eLearning technologies. Coordinate photographers and videographers, oversee content production for web sites, and maintain the multimedia content management system. Evaluate courseware development tools to ensure industry efficiency and provide full-cycle support for online interactive education resources.
Required Qualifications
- Experience programming with XML, HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS and xAPI
- Familiar with legacy eLearning technologies (i.e. Adobe Flash)
- Excellent understanding of web and video publishing production and the use of multimedia on the web
- Utilizes strong organizational skills to perform a wide variety of multimedia content management duties
- Provides full cycle support in the selection, design, and application of resources to satisfy requirements
- Must live within a 100 mile driving distance to the Jacksonville, Phoenix or Rochester Mayo Clinic campus
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
- Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program
Desired Qualifications
- Provides in-depth knowledge of existing education authoring software including Articulate 360 suite, Adobe Creative Cloud programs, Vyond (or other video animation/motion graphics tools)
- Proven graphic design skills with strong attention to visual design
- Creates engaging graphics and simulations using multiple media types, such as animations, text, and sound
- Proficient in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere
- Individual should be self-directed and work in a team environment
- Individual is expected to participate in a collaborative and productive manner with colleagues and interact with a variety of personnel
