Job Summary
Provide interpreting and translating services in the educational environment. Work with Judy Center staff to engage parents/guardians and increase family involvement in Judy Center activities. Assist in planning family workshops to support students academically. Attend meetings for interpreting when requested by administration. Conduct home visits to identify how to best support families, survey families, and utilize multiple methods of communication to improve student learning and family engagement. Collaborate with students, school staff, and community partners to serve HHGES Judy Center families. Interpretation during playgroups, family engagement events, home visits, and outreach with families will be required. Maintain confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma and experience with community organizations or agencies that serve the needs of youth
- Fluent in Spanish and English verbal and written
