Job Summary
Provide translation and family-engagement support between FCPS and families; perform written and oral translation in languages other than English; conduct home visits; deliver family workshops; collect, analyze, and present data related to family engagement activities; communicate with families, schools, and staff; coordinate and facilitate multilingual communications and resources to support student achievement; maintain logs and stay current with program requirements; assist with training opportunities for families and use technology to manage data; demonstrate ability to work with linguistically and culturally diverse communities; flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma or higher
- Minimum of 2 years experience providing support to families to enhance student achievement, program management
- Valid Kentucky Driver’s License
- Fluency in English and at least one other language as identified by immigrant student population
- Experience working with students in a school setting is preferred
