Job Summary
Lead daily field operations for large-scale residential renovation and reconstruction projects in the San Francisco Bay Area. Oversee subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and project stakeholders; monitor schedules, budgets, quality, and safety; conduct site walks; review plans and scopes; serve as the primary on-site representative throughout the construction lifecycle; collaborate with Construction Managers, consultants, and client representatives; manage project documentation and communications; assist with bid reviews and scope clarification; and position for growth into Construction Manager responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of superintendent, construction management, or field leadership experience
- General contractor background with strong understanding of residential construction
- Experience managing renovation, restoration, remodeling, or rebuilding projects
- Knowledge of building envelope systems including roofing, siding, decks, waterproofing, and exterior structures
- Working understanding of plumbing, electrical, structural, and civil construction components
- Ability to identify and solve field issues independently
- Comfortable working on active job sites and climbing ladders when necessary
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the Bay Area
