Job Summary
Oversee the multifamily business unit, providing leadership across sales, manufacturing, engineering, project management, and product development. Lead and manage design/engineering teams and estimating teams responsible for producing project shop drawings, estimates, and quotes. Apply and/or obtain Professional Engineer seals on submittals. Develop and maintain strong relationships with engineers, architects, contractors, building officials, and customers. Contribute to new product development, software development, and other technical projects that support company growth. Perform engineering calculations and technical analysis as needed. Ensure the quality and accuracy of estimates, shop drawings, submittals, and take-offs. Maintain ownership of multifamily projects from design and estimating through project completion. Partner with the sales team to help secure contracts and convert outstanding quotes. Obtain and maintain Professional Engineering seals in key states as needed. Develop and contribute to continuing education materials for engineering, building officials, and contractors.
Required Qualifications
- Civil engineering leadership experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required
- Experience with Revit and Microsoft Office
- Sales support experience
