Job Summary
Multicultural Support Officer (MSO) supporting refugees and migrants in Australia; duties include welcoming new arrivals, providing language support to case workers, facilitating access to services, delivering cultural insights to staff, administrative tasks, and community outreach; requires strong digital literacy, ability to work across diverse communities including Arabic and Kurdish-speaking groups, and ability to navigate public transport and accommodation services; reports to the NSI Shared Services team and emphasizes client-first language delivery and culturally responsive practices.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and another language
- Ability to speak, read and write in another language
- Strong digital literacy
- Experience in facilitation & training or case management (desirable)
- Driver’s license and own vehicle (desirable)
