Job Summary
Oversee operations for Subway restaurants within an assigned geographic area, with responsibilities including training shift managers, coaching and developing managers, staffing planning for managers and assistants, ensuring compliance with operating standards, leading staff to achieve sales goals using provided reports, and supporting local and national marketing initiatives. The role requires strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills, along with the ability to hire, coach, and develop staff, and to operate a POS system in a dynamic restaurant environment. The position is full-time (with Day/Evening/Weekend shifts varying by location) based in Ontario, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
- 3-5 years of successful, operational management experience in a restaurant environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Basic math and accounting with strong analytical/decision-making skills
- Demonstrated ability to hire, coach and develop staff
- Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register
- Physical ability to work in a restaurant environment including standing, bending, and lifting up to 30 pounds
