Multi Unit Group Fitness Assistant Head Coach - Frisco/West Plano

Job Summary

Deliver predesigned workouts to groups of up to 42 clients, leading a minimum of 16 OTF training sessions weekly while ensuring participant safety and modifying exercises for various skill levels. Support the Head Coach with administrative duties including member touchpoint calls, managing KPI reports, auditing equipment requests, and organizing the training session schedule. Maintain a positive studio environment, promote brand recognition, and handle member concerns professionally to build attendance and meet monthly metrics. Work weekends and special events as needed to complement leadership presence. Maintain current certifications including CPR/AED and attend mandatory corporate meetings.

Required Qualifications

  • Must hold a current fitness certification from an OTF approved education company (ACE, AFAA, ACSM, ISSA (*NCCPT-CPT – proctored only), NASM, NSCA, or NSCF).
  • Advanced knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, human movement, heart-rate focused training programs and the science that supports the OTF workouts.
  • Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic with a professional demeanor, excellent customer service skills, and integrity.
  • Professional ability to critically analyze problems, provide thoughtful solutions, and maintain a positive mindset.
  • Passion for helping change lives through health and fitness, including a desire to train all fitness levels.
  • Desire and ability to effectively work in a fast-paced, dynamic, team environment.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task and maintain organization, manage client, and staff concerns, and hold others professionally accountable.
  • Must invest 10+ hours per year in continuing education lectures and workshops outside of OTF curriculum.
  • Must have current in-person or blended (in-person and self-study) CPR/AED certification.
  • 1+ years of professional experience teaching and/or managing in the Fitness Industry.
  • Excellent communication, strong business acumen, and customer service skills.
  • Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and/or weekends.
  • Must be able to safely lift and move up to 40 lbs.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in an Exercise Related Field is preferred.
