Job Summary
The Multi-Trade Technician will perform maintenance, repair, and operational support across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general trades for campus facilities. Responsibilities include responding to service requests, conducting preventive maintenance, assisting with system troubleshooting, and providing broader coverage across multiple trades under Facilities Operations. Preferred qualifications include trade certification/license (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), experience in higher education or institutional facilities, and CMMS experience. This role supports campus facilities and reports to the Building Trades Manager, with priority given to applications by June 25, 2026; the position remains open until filled. The role is full-time, with benefits, and is based at Salisbury University on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a skilled trade (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or related field)
- Demonstrated ability to perform work across multiple trades disciplines
- Working knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues independently
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver’s license
