Job Summary
Carry out a wide range of maintenance, responsive repairs, void works, and refurbishment in domestic and other properties, including door and window repairs, flooring, skirting, architraves, fencing, external timberwork, plumbing, plastering, tiling, and painting. Diagnose faults and implement remedies on the first visit to properties as much as possible, changing locks during emergency call-outs when necessary. Ensure all maintenance works are completed safely to SHE requirements, delivered efficiently to a professionally high standard, and finished within required timescales. The role involves call-out work with a base pay of £5K per year.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Multi Trader role particularly in social housing
- NVQ in Carpentry
- Experience changing locks
- Experience in UPVC window repairs
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage daily workload
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
