Job Summary
Account Manager promotes psychiatry portfolio to primary care and neurology stakeholders; leads sales and marketing strategies with comprehensive clinical knowledge to drive sales performance. Territory includes Fort Collins, CO and surrounding Northern Colorado to Thornton, Western Nebraska, and Wyoming; travel up to 30-40% domestically. Requires 2-5 years of pharmaceutical or related healthcare sales experience, a BA/BS degree, annual product-knowledge certification, and ability to travel within the territory. Responsibilities include business planning and account leadership, effective selling, customer development, local market and therapeutic area expertise, reimbursement knowledge, and adherence to FDA regulations and Lundbeck policies. Must live within 40 miles of the territory, possess a valid driver’s license, and be capable of lifting up to 25 lbs. Preferred experience includes selling to general practitioners and CNS/neuroscience products; collaboration with alliance partners; willingness to travel to conferences.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Sciences degree from an accredited college or university.
- 2-5 years pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biologics, medical device sales or related healthcare sales experience.
- Must demonstrate ability to be certified on product knowledge annually.
- Must live within 40 miles of territory boundaries.
- Driving is an essential duty; must have a valid driver’s license in good standing.
- Travel up to 30-40% domestically.
