Job Summary
Provide patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse in the Med/Surg General Surgery Unit. Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing/skin care, grooming, eating), maintain tidy rooms, and accurately document patient data. Obtain vital signs and measurements (height, weight, glucose, I&O), perform EKG and phlebotomy as delegated, and carry out other duties as assigned. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of EKG and Phlebotomy courses with initial clinical competency, plus BLS training. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of EKG and Phlebotomy courses and initial clinical competency course upon hire or transfer
