Job Summary
Perform installation, testing, repair, and maintenance on compressor station equipment, pipeline facilities, metering, and regulating systems. Execute routine and major maintenance on gas turbine packages, compressor units, and auxiliary equipment. Service and repair mechanical measurement or control equipment, including meters, regulators, and valves. Manage power/electrical process controls, programmable logic controllers, and microwave multiplex systems. Complete work orders, enter data into SAP job plans, and handle administrative, clerical, and warehousing activities. Maintain a valid driver's license and work a rotating on-call schedule with extended days for emergency response. Climb compressor buildings and work in adverse weather, heavy lifting, and cramped conditions. Requires a two-year college electrical degree, oil and gas experience, and competency in rigging and precision tools.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a two-year college electrical degree or equivalent electrical experience
- Knowledge of electrical, electronics, instrumentation, or controls
- Relevant oil and gas experience or industrial experience in a plant environment
- Competency in rigging, interpreting technical reference documents, and the use of precision measuring tools
- Have and maintain a valid driver's license and a safe driving record
- Successfully complete a pre-employment medical screening, to include drug and alcohol testing
- Carry a cell phone
- Work a rotating on-call schedule
- Work extended days and/or weeks for emergency response purposes
- Occasionally travel to other company locations for temporary assignments, meetings, or training which would involve some overnight stays away from home
- Be subject to working conditions which include adverse weather and temperatures, heavy lifting, and cramped conditions
- Climb and work on the upper part of compressor buildings (both inside and out)

- Background screening is required for all positions, which may include criminal and/or credit checks
