Job Summary
Conduct planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical engineering aspects of manufacturing equipment and facility services. Perform routine maintenance, fault prevention, and repair of state-of-the-art machinery including CNC tools, bandsaws, and cold saws. Analyze equipment failures to suggest cost-effective improvements and support the development of PPM schedules and operating procedures. Train operators to carry out basic machine maintenance and assist in developing a lean culture. Work four nights per week from Monday 8 pm to Friday 6 am.
Required Qualifications
- An Electrical Maintenance Engineering qualification or equivalent or a time served Apprenticeship – NVQ Level 3
- Experience of working in a Machinery Maintenance/ heavy industry background with an electrical bias
- A full UK driving license with no more than 6 points
- The ability to travel across sites
- Must be available for night shifts (Monday 8 pm to Friday 6 am)
Desired Qualifications
- A documented history in CNC maintenance
- A background in fault finding/ rectification & competent mechanically, with experience of hydraulics & Conveying systems
