Job Summary
Maintain, repair, and install plumbing systems, fixtures, and general building elements throughout the hotel property. Carry out general plumbing, hot and cold-water supply repairs, toilet and shower maintenance, and drainage system work. Perform handyman tasks including door repairs, minor wall and ceiling fixes, painting, sanding, and furniture assembly. Assist other Engineering team members with carpentry, electrical, and mechanical maintenance while supporting preventive maintenance programs. Collaborate with Housekeeping, Front Office, and Food & Beverage to resolve maintenance issues and report major defects to the Chief Engineer. Work closely with multiple departments to ensure facilities remain in high standards with minimal guest disruption.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Plumber, Handyman, Maintenance Technician, or in a similar role
- preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment
- Good practical knowledge of plumbing systems, water supply, drainage, sanitary fixtures, pumps, and valves
- Basic knowledge of general maintenance, including carpentry, painting, tiling, and minor building repairs
- Good problem-solving skills

- the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant vocational or technical qualification in Plumbing, Maintenance, Engineering, or a related field
